Good day crew :)

I have a 2016 Trail just ordered up the fuel 20" wheels with Yokohama Geolander G105 rubber for the summer

for the winter I will have the crappy Bridgstone dueller HTs removed , get the stock wheels powder coated black and then wrap em in what winter rubber..

looking for a quality winter snow tire any recommendations ......?

thanks in advance guys

p.s. I should add that I live in Canada :rain:

I picked up a spare set of 17" wheels from an SR5 when I bought my 2017 LE in February. Mounted Blizzak DM-V2s in stock size for the rest of this winter. They've been fantastic! I couldn't be happier. Climbed a small forest service road over the edge of the Olympic Mountains, West of Seattle in a snow storm, deeper than the front bumper and just kept plowing along in fresh powder over packed and rutted ice. With the wheels, tires, and a second set of TPMS sensors it came to less than $1,000 USD.

Running snow tires on 20" wheels wasn't a viable option for me, since there were few options in those sizes, none were in stock, I was leaving for a long road trip a few days later, and I'd planned on swapping full wheel sets seasonally (20" in summer, 17" in winter).

20" in the summer and the stock 17" in the winter is also the combo I will be using

thank you for the Info on The Blizzaks

Winter tires

Our '16 4R Trail came fitted with Goodyear Duratracs and they did a great job in an unusual and very snowy winter here in Agassiz, BC. I can recommend them strongly. - Ted
