Wiper behavior on High during downpour

Feeling a little crazy about this.

We were caught in a big downpour last night in my ‘21 ORP and I commented on how slow the wipers were moving while on the High setting. As soon as the downpour cleared, wiper speed picked up significantly.

Anyone else experience a wiper slow down in the high setting during a downpour?

Working hard to move that amount of water? Sometimes the linkage between the motor and the arm can get corroded and slow down the wipes. If it gets too bad, the motor will burn out or a fuse will blow. Lubricate the joints on the linkage.

Yep, definitely sounds like the issue
