Wiring diagram help

I did succeed, once I quit overthinking it. The seats only need a power and ground wire, in addition to the seat belt wire and whatever else you already have (it’s been too long to remember). If you can track down the wiring diagram, figure out which pin on the power seat connector is power and run a 12 v wire of your liking to it. Same for ground. That’s all they need to fully function! Sorry, I can’t find a picture of the pins after all these years. Good luck.

What you say makes sense. I have an '03 Limited with power/heated leather seats and I can operate them with the key off, so the seat control switch has to hot all the time.

question about this...

do ALL of the power functions work with the key off?

-slide forward/backward
-recline
-lumbar support (if you have it)
-seat height adjustment
-seat bottom tilt

i am working through a swap of 06 leather seats to my 05 sport and i have a separate thread detailing my progress, but so far i can only get the sliding and reclining function to work. the other functions (lumbar, height, and tilt) are not yet working.

Can you please see if those work with the key out of the ignition or if they only work with the key inserte?

Just checked this on my 08 Sport and all five of those functions work without the key inserted.
