Wiring Hellas on Roof Rack

Whats up guys. So I have 4 Hella fog lamps coming in the mail tomorrow and need help wiring it. I know how to wire hellas its just I dont know how to run the wire down from the roof rack. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a 2005 4R but still anyone that has mounted lights up on the roof rack and has some suggestions, please chime in!

You really have two options:
1. run it along the rain gutter towards the front and tuck it under the weather stripping that runs down the drivers side of the windshield (short way)
2. run it along the rain gutter towards the rear and tap into the rubber wire loom and feed it through the cabin (very long way).

I went with option 2 since i'm running a few wires up there. Let me know if you need pics, i can take a few tomorrow.

Think I'm going to go route 1.

But do I have to run 2 separate harness' down the weather strip? Or do I splice them together so I only have to use one? :shrug: I'm clueless when it comes to wiring.

how many watts are you hellas? if they are at a higher wattage, you probably want to run all the wires down both sides of the windshield. Otherwise you can splice them together and run a heavier gauge.
