WiscoRunner's build thread

Hey everyone! Fairly new to the forum as the family just got the 4runner in August. I immediately caught the mod bug and I'm first and foremost trying to get away from the soccer mom look of the stock runner. I figured I'd start this thread to get some advice from everyone (so far you have all been amazing for information and new ideas) on what to do next and maybe bring up some new ideas that I haven't thought and/or read about. We don't have a whole lot of off road trails up in WI/MN that we can take 4 wheels on so I'm looking for functional mods while I take the rig in the backwoods hunting and fishing frequently. I'll add to this as I go but thanks in advance for any advice!

Here's what I've done so far since purchasing the runner.
Daystar budget boost (I'd rather have done it the "right way" but I won't be doing any rock crawling so it was more for aesthetics and bit more clearance on the fire lanes.

20% tint all around
Blacked out grill
One blacked out headlight... Had to have the drivers headlamp replaced right away so I played around with it and undecided whether to do the passenger and install or just keep the stock lights.
5k HIDs

Ideas for future mods include
HID fogs?
Debadge?
Spidertrax? I've searched for good pics of runners with a similar setup but still can't decide.
Side exit exhaust mod?
Child seat mod coming in March!

I understand that :worthless but all of my picture files are "invalid" I'm a noob here so cut me a little slack guys!

Since you already posted the worthless icon, I won't do that but this is a build thread so it might be a good idea to tell us what kind of 4runner you got :bluejump:

Sounds like a good mod plan, but I wouldn't rush the wheel spacers or they're gonna make you want bigger tires sooner!

There are a lot of pics early in my build thread (the pic/link in my signature) with just a little more lift than you and spidertrax on factory 265/65R17s if you're interested.

Welcome to the forum and happy modding
