worried about wearing out seats

ya know, our Hilux surf in japan wore out right on the corner of the seats when you get in and out of the truck... i am worried that i will wear out the seat cushions... i feel like i have to step out and away from the damm car when i get out of the truck and i constantly get crap on my pants... i like the fact that i can stand on it to wash the top of my car and put stuff on the Future rack i wanna get (Wilderness sport rack) ... anyone have seat problems with the 2003 that's has the factory running boards on? thanks... :dammit:

So far, no problems. You could try Wet Okoles if you have a problem, though.

We went with Wet Okole covers and couldn't be happier. (well, I would have chosen a less flowery pattern, but its her car).

yep, EP-3E... flew 3 years on those bad boys... over 1100 combat flight hours.... glad that is over with.... for now...

Never flown on one, but did install some prototype ASW equipment on one at NAS Whidbey (I work for a defense contractor). We later won a contract to update the ASW processing equipment. Heh, most of those planes are older than their pilots!

I was thinking the same thing. With the little 3 inch lift it's just high enuff to reach. I started to make a habit of steping on the RB 1st then down to the ground just to save that side of the seat. One on the many reasons I sold my old rig with 7in of lift was because I was getting to old and stiff to climb down.

My Eagle Talon has leather, and after almost ten years the leather is showing wear where it is rubbed upon entry/exit. I am conciously trying avoid this on my runner by lifting myself up enough upon entry/exit so I don't rub the or squish the seat sidewall closest to the door. Then again....I am probably more anal than most.

Doing a car wash for my snowboard team to raise money for tickets to whistler last year....

Ferrari 360 Modena pulls into the gas station we're at (mind you he laughted for a good 20 seconds when we asked if he wanted it washed)

I looked inside, and he had seat covers on it.... seat covers.... ferrari..... if you can afford a ferrari you can afford new seats covers, albeit a new godamn set of seats after 80 100 120 thousand miles....
