I need new tires soon and just saw a deal for Michelin Cross Terrains at Costco ($80 off set of 4). Will cost me a total of $882.70 which includes shipping, tax, and installation....Good deal?

I've been waiting on a deal for them, but I swear i've seen them at costco for even cheaper than this.

I got them in April for $145 each (265/65x17) with a $60 off 4 card. Jumped on replacing all 5. Noticed the other day that price jumpec to $220 each. I had been eying them 6 months earlier and they were $199. Not sure why their price fluctuate so much - for once I bought low!

4 Michelin

man that's a big difference. i guess i'll keep waiting and hopefully it'll go down more. i have about 47,000 on stock bridgestone's, but think i can last until rainy season comes. thanks for the reply!

i had to buy 1 tire at costco because one blew out on the highway from something in the road... cost me $155. good thing i bought it when i did... they show as $220 for 1 tire now!

Just depends on how much Costco gets them for. If they get a ton of them for cheap they will be cheaper but if they have smaller quantities they will cost more. They have to maintain a certain stock of sizes but it can cost more.

Yes. I can't remember but I think road hazard is extra though- but don't quote me on that.

Road hazard warranty is included as well. Life time rotate and balance, road hazard warranty and mounting and installation are included with the price of the tire (tire disposal fee is seperate in CA). It was $11 a little over a year ago when I got tires for my Camry.

They also include a 6 year warranty on Michelins. Plus they fill with nitrogen which keeps tire pressures more constant. I don't know why the price was so low for the last sale - it wasn't like there was a mountain in thats size - I had to order online for free delivery to local store. Additionally, tires were very fresh only 2 months old.
