Yep, I would say so. Although in the summer I kind of desire something more economical, the 4 runner is there for me doing 3-4K a month in harsh NE winters. I am not willing to be out there with the ground clearance of a sedan. A Subaru Outback or Forester would work but they too damn problematic.

Would not. Only because I've got two young kids (carseats) now. I'll be grabbing an Expedition or minivan (hahahahaa) or something of the like sometime in the future. God. A minivan. Ugh.

I did the Kid thing in an '89 1st Gen and it was a 2 door!.....Life's too short for a Minivan and Kids grow quick!:scared:

I have a 03 4th generation sport edition 4runner and the seats are still comfortable. Best vehicle ever for comfort on a long road trip.
