Oh man, you're way off here. There are far too many studies out that show exactly the opposite with the recreational use of marijuana for you to make such ignorant statements (read, ignorant does not mean stupid, it means that you ignore data). Legalization or decriminalization consistently shows overwhelming declines in harder narcotic use, and lethal overdose rates of both alcohol and opioids/narcotics are lessened dramatically.
Note that there is zero, ZERO possibility to overdose on marijuana. The only way you could ever die from marijuana directly is to die of smoke inhalation (such as what most commonly kills people in house fires), but you would have to inhale the same amount of smoke that you would in a structure fire, so unless you can figure out a way to smoke a 50 lbs bale of marijuana in about 10 minutes then you can definitively state that it is impossible to pass away directly from the use of marijuana.
If you want to join the debate, I would encourage you to do just that. However, you need to bring more than an opinion when there is far more legitimate and research scientific evidence that strongly states otherwise.
