Wow... it DOES tow

We are in Regina, Sask Canada after towing 1850 miles from our home near Asheville, NC.

Our 4Runner pulls our travel trailer PLENTY well... with plenty of power left over.

Gas milage is... uhm... well... LOUSY!

But man, what a ride!

I'm sure the milage is tough , but it probably be no different with anything else. When pulling something like that there is no such thing as good gas milage ....lol.

Asheville must be a 4Runner Mecca. Me and my '06 was just there this past weekend.

Yes, Asheville IS a 4Runner Mecca... At the building I work in, that houses only about 60 employees, there are Four 4th generation 4Runners.

We've noticed since we bought this car in December, when we have traveled to Ohio and up here to Regina, that there seems to be a WAY larger percentage of Toyotas on the road back home in Asheville.

Is it a mountain thing, perhaps? a 4WD thing?
