I had mine done in a black satin shortly after getting the vehicle and the front has held up very well I don't have stone chips although the installer said it is sort of self healing or if it gets hit really hard they could do something with it and a heat gun I dunno, I would do it again if it got scratched or anything ($200 Canuck Bucks). Its slapped right over top the valances were not removed.
