Writing a car blog entry on the 4th gen, any tips or advice?

Great read...I like the part when you just pull up to the dealership and see it for the first time, and test drive it etc.

It reminded me when I first took mine for a test drive. The salesman's just kept yapping about how its has a/c and all that, and here I am on my own planet, grinning away, happy as a pig in ****. It was then that I knew I was buying it.

Ha ha, thank you sir. Did you read post 15 of this thread where I talked about the lost art form or going cruising? I love to write about car stuff.

Go for an aimless drive, go burn some gas, leave a light and hit redline in all its high revving glory. GO CRUISE and RELIVE your adolescence or live your current adolescence to the fullest. Just do it in the name of automotive roots, history and enjoy the drive.

Yah I read it. It was good, you have a gift for writing lol. It may sound funnny but not everyone (including myself) can express themselves like that. I like this passage...It definately explains a lot of the mileage put on my Corolla. It was old, beaten up and rusted but I loved it, I loved burning rubber and redlining it just because it was all mine and no one could tell me to do otherwise lol.

Now I have the 4runner and love it the same but I try to treat it alittle better

Ha ha, my first memories of that stuff were in a 1988 honda accord. Burnouts, redline, e brake turns etc etc. we would cruise till the wee hours of the morning. Like I said in my article it was a different time for sure.
