WTB 1st Gen 4runner, Eastern VA

Hello to all,

I am looking for a clean 1st generation 4runner that is in good shape. This vehicle will be my daily driver so I need it to be reliable. After owning a 3rd gen in high school, I have always wanted another t4r and I have always had a liking to the 1st gen. Now post-college graduation and currently in the job market, I want something fun to drive.

I am willing to travel up to 400 miles if a vehicle is well worth it.

I do not have any preference in motor, the 22re or the v6 but I would be partial to a 5sp.

I don't want a lot of mods or a huge lift just something tasteful and practical. My budget is around 5k but condition means everything. Thanks for looking!

I want to bump this to the top. I would not be opposed to a 4runner being a few hundred miles away if it is in the right condition and i have enough pictures to justify making a long trip. I'm mostly considering vehicles that have no body or frame rust and is also in great running condition. I have always wanted a 1st gen t4r and I'm hoping to grab one in great condition.
