Hi guys
Anyone breaking a 2.7 engine??
I'm after three metal clamps which hold the main engine room wiring harness to the valve cover on a 2.7 3RZ-FE engine.
I've tried ordering these from the dealer but they are all out of production
And some idiot PO ripped them off and didn't bother putting them back.
Mine is a JDM and I'm not certain that the US market 3rd gens have the same clamps, but I don't see why not.
Just to be clear, I'm after the metal clamps, not the plastic clips (though there's no harm in including them).
Below are some pics of the three clamps I'm after, with part diagrams from the EPC.
First is a boomerang-shaped clamp which holds the wiring harness above the rear left corner of the valve cover where it turns towards the TB and injector plugs. It's held on the back of the cylinder head by one 8 mm bolt.
Second is a right-angle shape which holds the wiring harness above the rear right corner of the valve cover close to the small earth strap which runs up to the bulkhead. It's also held on by one 8 mm bolt on the rear exhaust manifold side of the cylinder head.
Third is a small, odd shaped clamp which is fastened onto the valve cover itself by one 6 mm bolt, roughly below the surge tank on the inlet hose.
I'd greatly appreciate if I could buy these from someone to keep my wiring harness still.
I'm located in Europe (Netherlands) but I have a friend in Texas who can accept packages in case international shipping is not your thing
