Just got home 2 hours ago with a 2000 Sport w/5-spd and 120K on the clock. Oh, and the timing belt/water pump & rear main seals have been done within the last 4yrs/25K miles. w00t!!! :banana:

Or this just popped up! This one is NICE. I don't think it's locked though.

Just wanna get the basics outta the way first:

• Remove running boards
• Remove bug deflector
• Remove pin stripe(s)
• Remove gold badges (paint what's left)
• Steam clean carpet
• Clean & condition leather
• Buff/polish/wax paint
• Buy new OEM floor mats

Then I'll enjoy it for a week and start burning money. :wink2:

I think what you originally did was use reverse psychology. By making it seem like I wouldn't find what I wanted, it actually made it easier. You're a genius!! :artist:

Frankly I paid more than I wanted, but then again I feel as if I had unreal expectations going into it. That being said, $8K from a private owner. He was 200 miles away and wanted $9K, but I said I'd only make the trip if he'd take $8K. At first he outright said no. Then he called back and said $8,500, to which I said no. Then he said his absolutely bottom dollar price was $8,250. I kindly thanked him for his time to which he replied, "Ok, you've got a green light for $8K. Now come get the damn thing before I decide to keep it!" He was seriously cool about the entire deal.

And yes, I realize pics are essential. Lemme get her a little cleaned up before I do.

Yes, yes, and yes. The front driver seat is gonna need cleaned x10, but I'll get it done; damn leather. And the sunroof, man, that thing is awesomely huge (That's what she said.).

Truly, that sums it up. I mostly wanted it for resale/desirability. Sure it would've been neat, but my need for it was virtually nill.

I'm getting dangerously close to actually getting pics. I spent more time then I'd like to admit debadging her last night. I might have to take her to a body shop/detailer to get the remaining adhesive "outline" removed. I've tried Goo Gone, WD-40, and some light rubbing compound...I can still see where they were. And I still have to take the friggin' pinstripes off. :ybrick:

Oh yeah, I'll have to get a new grill emblem and one for the rear hatch too.
