I inquired about it way back in November maybe early December. Carfax does show one accident. Also, toyota service website shows lots of brake changes and brake repairs throughout the life of the car. I straight told them that they would need to drop the price at least $6,000 before anyone will consider it. So far, they've dropped it about $3,000.

I wouldn't hold brake repairs against it, common problem with 4th gens until you do the 5th gen caliper upgrade. We'll all go through it sooner or later probably.

Thanks or the info. I did not know about service website. Does the Toyota service website check for 4Runner at dealer or any repairs else where too? I wonder who much brakes replacement costs?

It only shows service performed at a Toyota Dealership. I'm not an expert on 4th gen T4Rs. I've never even owned one, just looking to buy one. The brakes may be a common issue, but it was something like 4 brake changes within 20k miles, replaced front and rear calipers, replaced ABS module. It may be in awesome condition now since everything was literally replaced. But also, there was probably a reason someone decided to trade it in with so few miles.

They also have an 09 V8 Limited, white, 60k, for around $25k.

Price is high but from my experience low mile clean 4th gens are hard to find. Add in popular color and your at 21K

Just paid 20,500 for low mile 2008 4Runner Sport Model V8 4X4 in Galactic Gray.

Found one in CO and its being shipped to me now in LA. Dealer in Grand Junction CO /Car Tunes/specializes in Toys. Ryan knows his cars and is honest and legit.

I'm thinking about selling my 2008 4Runner V8, 4WD Limited with Navigation. 113k miles. 30k on Michelin MS/2 tires. Very Good condition other than one accident - drivers side quarter panel and front bumper replaced. Any idea of the price range I should ask? I'm getting an F350 diesel and I'd rather not do a trade in. I'm in GA.

Wow! Was not aware it has been on sale since the beginning of the year. I actually saw that today and I was not impressed. The person I saw (Kevin, used cars) was not knowledgable at all. It runs well on the flat roads and right turns he took me on. I originally asked him to take me on roads that were hilly. I was not impressed at the lack of cosmetic care given to this. Was not detailed, engine compartment dirty, and under carriage seems to have normal wear. Front tires have low tread and the rear ones looks like they lose about a fourth of the tread. The leather inside is cracking in parts. All interior instruments are operational. A/C good. I did not like the lack of attention to whoever put the front aftermarket bumper on. It actually rubs the front hood when opening it. I wish Koons took the time to clean the vehicle properly. It was dirty inside which was turned me off. Also the car was bought in NY and has about 4 reported accidents in Carfax. He really could not comment intelligently with anything I asked or even offered more then the normal, "Its a great car!" I left disappointed.
