WTB: 5th gen 2015-2016 T4R Trail Premium w/ KDSS

New member here, long time Toy lover.

Sold my Toy Taco last year and miss the yota experience. Currently have a '16 Subaru Outback that's been awesome but would just rather be in a larger SUV.

So looking for either an '15 or '16 T4R 4WD Trail Premium. Definitely want KDSS option. Light mods ok, budget in the $35K range but flexible depending on mods/mileage. In SoCal, but anywhere in continental US ok. Willing and able to do a fly and drive home trip if a deal works out.

Have seen a few on Car Gurus, Auto Trader, EBay, but somewhat distrustful of buying from a dealer and think buying from members here would be better.

Does the above sound reasonable, or am I on glue?

I wouldn't say it sounds unreasonable but I have noticed that most of the guys selling 5th gens on here are selling their TRD Pros. Trail or TRD offroad guys tend to keep them. But just letting you know I bought my Trail Premium with kdss for 38k brand new so you might be better off trying to get a left over or a new one. A lot of dealerships wont budge but you just have to give them your price and walk if they wont. There are plenty out there that will tak you up on it.
 
I have a friend with a 2015 or 2016 cant remember Trail Premium with full Icon stage 4 installed if you are interested. Send me a PM and Ill put you in touch.

Thx. Curious if 38K was OTD or taxes, fees, etc., on top of that.
Which dealership, and how many dealers did you have to walk away from before you got your price?

No, that is without taxes or licensing fees. I do not pay dealer fees. So OTD was a little under 40
 
I have a 2014 non-premium KDSS for sale. Mods listed in my signature. Currently at 31,500 miles. 10yr/100k Toyota warranty
