I plastidipped the rails on my Trail last week. When taking the caps off and then seeing a SR5 at work I really think plastidip would look great on the SR5 caps. A $3 bike tire wrench and $5 can of plastidip and you're in business.

The rails are silver but end caps are black, nothing a little paint or plastidip cant fix...
