found a 98' in montclair. Looks really clean! exterior,interior, engine bay, no rust. There were no pictures of the underneath oh the truck, and i want to take it for a test drive to see if 4wd engages and works, and to see if the clutch is in good condition. Only problem: ive never driven a stick... so if any locals are willing to meet me there or i could give you a ride up there and you could inspect the truck for me and give it a good test drive to see if everything works, i would greatly appreciate that! i will treat you to linch too haha

Haha, you're looking for a manual, but never driven stick? That's pretty funny. It's not that hard and you'll love it once you get use to it. I miss having a stick and the 4runner would be pretty fun with a manual. Good luck with the search and I'll keep a lookout up here NorCal.

Check the frame for rust too, these rust from the inside out, so if there is surface rust on most of the outside, its also on the inside, carfax says the car lived in Maine and Montana at certain points in time, so i would certainly give the rust thing a more in depth check.
