Wtb in SoCal- 3rd gen muffler

As the title says, I am looking for the muffler section from a third gen 4runner. Located in San Diego. Anyone have anything?

i have 5th gen the whole exhaust with 20k you can have it for $100. just need a muffler shop to do some cutting & welding probable

I just bought a new cat back for my 97. When it gets here you can take my OEM exhaust with magnaflow muffler on it for $80. Located in North SD.

Sorry to jump in on a tangent - I was wondering what to do with my stock cat-back when my Magnaflow overland kit arrives. In CA do the smog techs trip when they go to stick the sniffer in the tailpipe and it's not at the stock location? I was thinking of hanging onto it just in case I need to throw it back on, but I'd rather give it to someone who could use it. Been a while since I watched a smog - are sniffers still even used?

99 and older they still do the sniffer, 00 and up don’t. It’s mostly a systems and visual check for 00 and up. I learned that after I sold my 96 and went to smog my 00 for the first time.
