Have someone check it out! The air intake and exhaust will make it louder but sometimes holes do appear in exhausts - like the issue some like me(possibly) are having with Catlytic converters and thats a COSTLY repair. Hope thats mines under warranty- would your 4R be under warranty? Maybe you should keep looking- 4R's are great trucks just gotta keep looking then do the mod upgrades yourself!:thumb3:

the k & n intake is louder than stock & it may have a flowmaster 40 or 44, which is also much louder than stock. heres the site that has clips of different FM muffler sounds, u see if any seem the same. Call me old, just didnt like it or maybe something isnt right. Maybe sounds wrong to me because it is a V6. Doesnt matter as they agreed to put a stock exhaust system on before I buy it. I Didnt want to hear any questions from family or friends as to when I was going to fix the hole in my muffler. Thanks
It's a 2006 with an extended warranty reportedly until 2013. I will check this out further. I climbed under it while it was running and it didnt sound like there were any leaks. Surely you can hear if converters are going bad right? Wouldnt think they would be bad already, as it only has 43k miles. Hope it to be mine soon if stock exhaust sounds ok.
