X-REAS Advantages?

i have just replaced all 4 shocks and springs on my 06 v8 sport ed .i went with 5100s and moog springs (i am low on budget now)and i feel no significant difference with x reas!!!ride is smooth,maybe a little more body lean that xreas but if you compare prices,even the rough estimate of $2900,there are a lot of possibilities to make it handle twice as better as x reas!!!!


i spent 329 for shocks,90$ for all four springs and paid 300 to a friend of mine to install them in the garage since i dont have one and its cold out!!!
 
I replaced my XREAS with Tacoma TRD springs & shocks up front, FJ springs rear w/ the Tacoma TRD shocks. I can't say I miss the XREAS at all. On-road there seems to be very little difference. Off-road is improved. I'm happy with it and it was really cost effective to find some take-offs. I may eventually go with an Icon, King, Fox, Radflo set-up, but what I have now is great for the foreseeable future.

1) heard/read it here on t4r.org. I know most on this forum love them. Then again alot like the ride stiff.
2) I had billies on my old Grand Cherokee. Didnt care for the ride. A bit too stiff for me.
