They will be replacing both the front and rear X-REAS for $3800 - apparently they have to replace the entire system when there is a failure. Fortunately this is covered by my Ext Wty.

Has anyone had a similar issue with X-REAS? Just wondering if this is something to be concerned about going forward. I do almost 100% highway/road driving.

Replace with Kings all the way around, have a better ride that will be much cheaper + they're rebuildable.

Being fair to the OP, you're comparing the sunk cost of his warranty to a hindsight what-if scenario. His choices now are $0 for complete XREAS replacement or pay out of pocket for a different setup. Seems a no-brainer to me.

no... I was just simply stating his repair inst "FREE"
 
Bumping this back up. Just went in for an oil change on my 2014 Limited and they showed me that all 4 are leaking. I'm still under the 12 month comprehensive Certified Pre-Owned warranty, so they'll be replaced free of charge to me. My question is, how long do these suckers last? Maybe they'll go out again around the same time my tires need to be replaced (they're almost new and will last a while). This will give me some leverage on a lift and larger tires once the warranty is up, with my old lady.

I got about 170k before my line to the driver side "center" shock popped. This was on a 2004 Sport. Wasn't exactly cheap to fix but more economical than ripping it out and replacing with a standard suspension
