yes. keep in mind the original signal was to light up a halogen bulb. but unless a relay is used (one side goes to 12V and the other side is the original signal), the original signal will no be used to power up the ballast, igniter and xenon bulb. i'm not saying i wont work, but it's designed to work with a relay for a reason :dancin:

Xenondepot themselves have stated in one of the threads that it is not needed on the newer 4runners.

What's a good alternative to using double side tape? My concern is having a hard time to remove the ballast if it needs to be replaced.

I used on both of my trucks a combination of the 3M tape with some long zip ties. The wife's truck has had the HID kit on for 3 years/zero issues with that setup.

It makes a nice clean install tucking them up under the the side molding.

dammit, i tried again last night to remove it and failed :doh: would there be any harm if i just held it up while installing it? it shouldn't bend out of shape.

I took this pic last night from my driveway which is an incline. How does the cut off look? Is the light dispersion bad?

Sorry, taking the pic any further away would have aimed the headlights higher due to the incline.
