Where did you mount the ballasts for your foglights?

I mounted them against the headlight bucket/radiator support underneath the headlights. It's pretty much behind bezel trim that's between the headlight and bumper. There are existing holes in the sheet metal that I used to bolt the ballast tab against.

I see that the Xtreme HID 4300k Philips Xenon HID Kits are available for H11 size but I do not see the Xtreme HID 3000k Philips Xenon HID Kits for 9006 size (I believe that I previously saw that on your site if I am not mistaken).
Is this a temporary stock issue as to there not being 3000k Philips components for 9006 size or could I be mistaken as there ever being a 9006 size Xtreme HID 3000k Philips Xenon HID Kit?

We actually haven't carried the Philips 3000k and 6000k line up in about 2.5 years... =)

Would you have a photo of the mounting location by chance?

I don't--I'll see what I can do picture wise, because it's covered and hidden from above. I didn't take pictures of the install, since 4RunnerRon posted a very well written one.

My recommendation is install the bulbs into the housings first and then plug the ballast in. This way you'll know how much wiring slack you have to work with. IIRC, my Philips kit and Xtreme kit the wiring lengths were a little bit different. I didn't get both kits or installed them at the same time, so I could be mistaken or imagining things. :

As soon as the repairs have been completed on my 4Runner I'll be placing my order for both sets (4300k and 3000k). I am hoping they finish before the end of the month...I am getting tired of the rental cars...

We should. Can you confirm what type of bulb the 2010 4 runner uses for the low beams? My application guide currently only goes up to 2009.

I just ordered 9006 / HB4 4300k Xtreme Xenon HID Conversion Kit, thenks for the info on the forum. It sure helped me decide. There are too many HID kits out there.
