XREAS Lean

Question for everyone.

Now, I've looked into this a bit, but most of what I have found is in regards to KDSS in either Trail 4Rs or GXs.

My Limited has just short of 18k miles on it, its just a daily driver, haven't towed anything yet. Walked out to the driveway Tuesday night and said to myself, it looks like this thing is leaning to the driver side. Went out with a tape measure and found that the driver side (measured from the ground to the top of the wheel well fender flaring) was indeed lower.

I found that the driver side is approximately 1/2" lower than that of the passenger side. I drove to work the next day, and remeasured and found close to the same difference again.

Is this normal to happen to XREAS?

Your method of measuring isn't very conclusive.

Even a very small difference in air pressure could cause 1/2" difference when measuring from the ground to the fender.

And very few parking or road surfaces are perfectly flat, for drainage.

If you measure from the centre of the hub to the fender, this will remove air pressure variances.

4Runners in general lean to the driver side. You have the battery, steering column, and gas tank, all on the driver side of the vehicle. And as mentioned before, tire pressure could be slightly off from tire to tire.

Nothing wrong with the XREAS!

Both tires are sitting at 36 psi

Measurements were being taken on my flat concrete driveway
