XREAS Replacement- Tear Out or Cap

Getting ready to toss the XREAS system after 208K miles . Have the Bilsteins ready to go.I'm wondering who tore out the system completely and who capped it. If you capped the tubing , what did you use for caps and if you tore it out , how difficult was that ? My local 4 X 4 shop is doing the work and I don't think they have worked with XREAS before. Want to tell them what to expect . Thanks .

I've never owned an XREAS 4runner but I would want everything removed. No need having extra lines that do nothing. Just my opinion.

Tend to agree but not sure how much work (labor time) is involved .

It's a simple process. I think it took me an extra 15 minutes to pull the whole system off.

Hearno is right. It takes only a matter of minutes and will make installing sliders easier if you ever decide on getting those. Just yank it!

They're basically mini burgers. Go really well with beer.

Sorry...couldn't resist. Sliders are off road armor that protect the body under the doors and typically are welded or bolted to the frame.

They're useful for bumping around obstacles, sliding over rocks and trees (hence 'sliders'), etc
