Xreas??

This is probably a stupid question but oh well

First of all I have searched the forums so no one can give me grief for not looking

I know that Xreas became avaible in 03 but was it standard on all sports from that point on.

So my question is do ALL 03/04 Sport editions come with Xreas??

Was there the option to not have it??

yes all Sport Editions have Xreas as well as it being an option on the Limited.

It is not an option to NOT have it on a SE. If you don't want it, you bought an SR5 or a limited.

Just to remind everyone that SE is not a trim level. It is a package that is added onto the SR5. So technically, you are buying an SR5 with sport package.

In the US Toyota has 3 seperate packages, SR5, SE and LTD. They are clearly distinct with different options and features.

I think Toyota Canada decided to market and configure the models differently then.

But of course they would have different features. It just lists SR5 and LIMITED as a model, and the "sport edition" would just be a package on top of SR5. Its more or less the same thing.

In the US they are clearly marketed as 3 different models.

SR5 is probably focused on the value buyer.
SE on the sporty buyer
LTD on the luxury buyer

They are listed separately and as different models here in the US.

Canada did it differently with 2 models then.

And Sharp4runner has listed how thee models and XREAS apply in the US

Yup, I agree.... the Sport Edition is a separate model from the Limited or SR5.

it is.

Its kinda odd though... as the cars are labeled SR5, SPORT EDITION, LIMITED. The website lists SR5, LIMITED and sport package for SR5.
