Hey man, I was wondering how much you paid for the roof rack? Where did you buy it from? Cheapest place to get one?

the cheapest place u can find it online is also where i got it... etrailer.com and it was $180 and free shipping though if ur thinking bout getting the extension i would do it at the same time bc i didnt and now im regretting it since i will have to pay shipping which adds $20 to the cost of the exension.

Thanks for the info, I didn't think about the extension until you mentioned it. I'll definitely be thinking about getting the extension also.

you are gonna love the ISR, you have a deckplate right? Both together sound SOOO nice!

Install is easiest for 2002's also, yay us!
Did you decide on what to do with the brushguard money yet?

no, no deckplate yet bc i want a snorkel in the future so wanna keep the stock box enclosed... as for the money it might have to end up going to bills but im trying to figure out a way around that.

Deckplates can reseal. The lid thing is watertight. There are made for boats afterall

lol no i got the work done for free and only took them 25 min to do it... ok so i got the ISR mod on and running but found out that trying to run the air hose up to the gas tank it almost impossible. Anyone care to shed some light on the best way to do it? Well it started to get dark so i just called it a day.

Under the driver's side rear wheel well. there is a piece of plastic that the gas fill tube goes through. Bend that back a little bit and zip tie the tube somewhere near the back of the gas cap. If you need you can have someone under the truck feeding it up to you.

lol ya i figured i needed to take off or move that piece of plastic covering under the fender but wasnt sure and it was starting to get dark and the mosquitoes were coming out so i called it a night but ill def get at it again when i get some free time since this entire weekend is gonna be crazy! my sister is getting married and im the best man so lots of stuff to get done then back to the 4runner...

Well here are the pics as i promised! oh ya and i got my friend to torque my wheel spacers finally and rotate/balance my tires as well... Gotta love friends at Discount Tires. arty:

ya just need my BL then on to 35s for sure! Trust me ive been dying to get a set on here...

no don't do a body lift... sorry i hate body lifts lol I put one on my last 4runner and I hated the look of it. You can definately fit 35's with no body lift with those 9wraps, go to Rockdawg84's profile he has 8 wraps with 35's, I borrowed a floor jack from him today and man his runner is burly. This weekend I'm installing my 882's and my 7.5 wraps and just taking the rear bumper off when I put my 35's on- tho I am eventually having one fabbed up for me. But all he did to the front was hammer his fender wells and he cut his front bumper a little, which you already have the ARB that will give you enough clearance. sooooo please no body lift!!!

lol ya alot of ppl told me to fit 35s on ther without the BL but ive had a very intriguing discussion with Haddix a while back and he had almost the same setup as me and was running 35s and told me to get the BL or i would need to end up tubbing the fenders.

I saw Rockdawg's profile but im just not certain if thats the best way to go yet... still debating.

I'd rather tub my fenders than buy another body lift....I don't know its up to you, just my opinion, but pretty much all these guys runnin 35's on here have 1.5-2" body lifts. I just absolutely hate the gap lol especially when you can fit 35's without the BL ya know? Go find someone with a mounted 35 and put in on your truck to see how it fits before you decide on the BL

Also the gap between the hitch and the rear bumper looks horrible IMO lol

ya i know wat u mean... im kinda undecided at the BL bc i want more height since in my 4runner seems so small compared to all my friend's trucks. But ya i might try a 35 to see tho.

I dont like the thought of the gap between the rear bumper and hitch either but if i do end up going with the BL then im gonna get the hitch adjusted to fit flush and then welded to the frame.

lol its kool, i think each person is allowed either own opinion so doesnt bother me... im still unsure but well see. Ya i just cant wait to get some 35s on soon! these tires i have now need to wear down faster so i have an excuse to get my new 35s haha

so my morning class was cancelled so i figured this was the best time to get my diff breather on wince i figured out the solution...

Thats a fancy air hose you got there. Makes the 8mm fuel line I used look like crap. And those are pretty decent pictures for an integrated laptop webcam.
