Thundercloud is one of the nicest colors there is, yeah I can envision your truck with the herculined bottom and blacked out wheels, that would be a sleek combination, will give it a nice 2 tone look..Go for it!

Nice work, love your rig! if only I could figure out a way to make money off my kids instead of them bleeding me dry I'd have more money to throw at my 4Runner~!

Make one of them the next Hannah Montana or something and ur set for life... haha but ya i know wat u mean since i have a 16 month old and daycare is a killer for me.

Blcktpgsr: ya dude im still unsure if i want to do it for sure or not but def need to pick up the rear bumper piece and will hopefully make up my decision soon.

Well looks like ive finally got all the parts i need to fix the 4runner and forget this whole hit and run even happened!

So ive been busy with work and school so havent really gotten anything new for the 4runner especially after all the Christmas gifts i had to buy...

looked over the tire tread and well i still have quite a bit left and they seem to be wearing fairly lowly so looks like i wont be able to get 35s til maybe the summer?

I bought my dad some HIDs from DDM Tuning for Christmas and after talking to him bout bulb colors ill be trading him my 5000k bulbs for his 6000k bulbs.

Well ive been looking for rims for a while now just to give the 4runner a little different of a look and wish i could pick up those 5 stars that JSMarine has...

I found a set of rims in austin (bout an hour away) but not too sure if i should get them or not. The rims ive been lurking with no such luck are LX450 rims and TRD FJ anthracite/black rims.

i have the 16 inch version of those 7089's i think the 17 would look a lot better IMO. you can click on my sig and see what they look like on my rig and kind of get an idea.

i really wanted the TRD FJ wheels and will still own them some day but these are good enough for now, thats not a bad deal either.

For the price that's not a bad deal..$106/ wheel is in fact a good deal..by looking at the attached photo, it looks like the wheels are hub-centric which in comparison to our trucks bore size is smaller, and therefore not gonna fit unless you use an adapter or a spacer.

Well i just pulled this pic from 4wheelparts not the CL ad but ya im currently running wheel spacers so might just have to keep them on.

Alright need some help just read all of your thread and I have a question why did you do a diff breather? I have a smiller truck just a 98 and its 2wd. Love your progress on yours mine will hopefully get serious here soon. Also want to know where to pick up 9 wrap LC coils? I currently have 891's on mine. Will the 9 wrap coils hold a load well cause im usually pulling a bass boat I fish often so I want to know if i should keep my 891's.

ok willy, so first the diff breather is extended so that when i submerge my axle in deep mud/water it wont mix with the oil inside causing u to need to flush the axle... its more of a thing u do to prevent a potential problem. There are other/cheaper ways to do this but i like the look of mine and it wasnt that bad (~$15)

So i got my 9 wraps from a member on ih8mud.com but there are a few guys here once in a while that end up selling a set. The 9 wraps are great for added height but dont do too well under continuous stress loads. The reason i wanted these over the 891s is bc i gained about 2" of height but i rarely ever tow anything. Since u mentioned u towed a bass boat, ur prob better off just keeping the 891s since i know a few other guys who have 7 or 8 wraps and have said it sags worse then the height of the OMEs while under a heavy load.

Well hope this helps u out, and ur rig seems to be coming along nicely...

Thanks for the help man ill probably keep my 891's. the breather will probably be done very soon thanks for clearing all that up.

Thnx Hepar... ya im pretty broke after all the Christmas presents i bought so well see how much money i end up with after christmas. I cant decide whether i want to mod the 4runner with that money or buy a new rifle since its time to get a day off of work and to do some deer hunting.

I say mod the 4Runner. You can always go deer hunting (or ramming) with your ARB. :driving:

so after you put the LC coils on what will your final suspension mods be? front and back? it got a little confusing to follow what you were runnin.

and your runner looks great

I just received my LC 9 Wraps coils in the mail yesterday so hopefully ill have them on sometime between this weekend and the next...

so what is the final modifications to the suspension after you put the LC 9 wraps on? it was a bit hard to follow.

runner looks great too, and have you put any thought in a rear bumper?

Well im currently running the LC coils in the rear already but plan to get a 2" BL so i can run 35s. I thought about a rear bumper but dont have the 700-800 to spend on it right now since its not much of a priority over other items.
