Ya ive been eyeing the Perkins bumper but jsut dont have the funds right now... need to send in my app for financial aid so hopefully i can use that towards 35s since my tires are wearing down and maybe if i have some leftover ill get the bumper.
Im running OME 882s in the front with OME comfort shocks and i think it should still be giving me a bit over 3" but ill check for the measurement.
Ya i was afraid to do the bedliner bc the only other thundercloud 4runner ive seen with something similar, i thought looked terrible but im very pleased with how it came out.
I used rustoleum truck bed liner from Walmart... they have spray cans for $8 each or a gallon roll on for $45. I went with the spray can bc i felt it would be easier since im low on spare time and it would work for my needs, was lower on costs, and would get into the cracks better. I ended up needing 3 cans total. I did the rear bumper 2 days ago with one can and today i used a can for all the fender flares and a can for the doors. I was able to get roughly 3 coats on everything with only $24 invested into this project.
I felt this was a great way for me to get a new look which im stoked bc i was getting kinda tired of the 4runner looking so bare and i think it helps connect the ARB to the 4runner more so. The bet part to me is that since i did this i saved tons of money on all the touch-ups and repainting i needed done from that hit and run back during thanksgiving.
