The Yakima Control Tower is the base rack solution for cars with factory racks. Yakima Control Towers attach to factory rack tracks, replacing the factory rack and creating a dependable Yakima multi-purpose base rack system. This has been a great solution for a rack system for me, but no longer fits the vehicle I drive. I have upgraded from a 2nd get to a 4th gen so I am probably going to look for a new Yakima rack solution. (A testament to the fact that I would keep this Yakima rack if it fit)

I am asking for $150 which is a good deal for all the things you will get. (+ Shipping) (open to offers, but shipping prices can't be negotiated.)

PLEASE!!!! I really want to get rid of these so I can buy a new Yakima Rack for my 05' and get rid of the awful wind noise that my snowboard rack connected to the factory rack is causing.

I surely agree that it would be nice to avoid the shipping... that's why I considered craigslist. I'm in Charlotte, NC (just to answer your question) and don't really plan on venturing above the Mason Dixon any time soon. Let me know if we can get something worked out! GREAT RACK!

if I'm looking to get a yakima load warrior is this the base that i would have to buy separate from the basket or will the basket sit on stock racks.. I'm interested an I'm in va so not too far.

Back from the dead bump...

I realized I still have these rack parts and I need the money. As I posted up top, new price is 150 or OBO. Money will go to a lift so I will be open to lift parts for trade. Coils (aftermarket or FJ), Bilsteins, etc. GREAT rack option!
