Yakima Load Warrior on UrbanRunner

Hope someone can help out. I know many of you have the Load Warrior and I am looking to purchase one with the extensions.

My question is if anybody has this rack on an UrbanRunner and if they ran into any problems putting it on the factory crossbars? I've looked at some of the other crossbars on 4runners compared to my crossbars and mine seem to be thicker and wasn't sure if it would be an issue.

Any help is appreciated.

The load warrior should work fine. You may need some adapters.

Isn't the UrbanRunner rack/crossbar setup the same as the Sport Edition? If so Yakima gives you everything you need to put on Load Warrior/Mega Warrior.

Not sure if it is the same setup or not. I found there are adapters though, so worst case I have to buy adapters. I'm going to go ahed and buy it from the guy since it is a good deal.

Thanks for the replies.

I just drove down and purchased it with the extension from a guy on Craigslist. It fit perfectly on the factory crossbars. No adapters needed.

Very happy with it. Can't tell it is on there around town and on the interstate over 70 it does have some wind noise, but nothing unbearable or not expected.

A wind fairing should take care of the noise.

Glad to hear it. I'm not crazy about all Yakima products, but these racks are a good value I think.
