Yakima Railgrab on Stock Rails Opinions Please

I have a 2016 Trail Premium. I don't need a full rack solution, but want to carry my bikes on top. I already own 66" Yakima crossbars and fork mount bike trays.

Couple questions:

What is your opinion on strength/reliability of Yakima Railgrab mounts on the stock rack?

I have 66" crossbars (from Tacoma). Factory rails are about 44" apart. That would mean 11" extending past factory rails on each side. I would like to carry two bikes OUTSIDE the factory rails on the cross bars. Say a 30 lb. wife's trail bike and my 21 lb. bike. I could cut the bars down because 11" is not needed. Might add a Yakima basket at some point. Any issues carrying the bikes here?

I currently have a ARB 2500 awning attached to the bars on driver side and a cargo box on the other side and I'm doing a rooftop bike carrier as well. It's holding up fine I'm not worried about strength.

Just for future reference, Google is a much better search then the search bar at the top of forum. Type in "5th Gen T4R" and then whatever you are looking for...I find it to be much easier.

I have rail grabs with the 66" bars. I haul almost 200lbs worth off kayaks on top with no problems at all. No wiggling or movement off any kind.

I haul both mine and my wife's mountain bikes on top of our 4runner. It is a little higher to get to, but it's not bad.

We don't really eat fast food, so we never have to worry about being stupid and driving our bikes into overhangs or low clearance spots.

I have my Autohome RTT mounted on the Yakima bars and Railgrab. No problems.

Makes removal for storage a breeze.

Looks like you have all the input you need. But I can also verify that the rail grab is a great system. I have them with 58" crossbars I believe. Have copperhead bike trays on each outer side and a cargo basket in the middle. Works great. Here is an older picture with the bikes on the ride and another newer/closer pic that shows more of the set-up.
