Can anyone confirm that these "splicers" are inactive? I don't see any wires coming off them. There was an aftermarket remote starter installed but I am anxious to find out if some factory fobs will be able to be programmed - 2000 Limited T4R.

having some tranny issues with an '11 4Runner wanting to make a thread to explain everything ive been noticing maybe someone knowledgeable can lead me in the right direction
taken it to 2 different shops, and my local dealer, and have been given 3 different diagnoses, ofc the dealer wanted to replace everything which im sure would change the problem.
took it to the dealer first, then some other good rep shops, but im thinking it more of what the dealership was saying perhaps torque converter issues or may need whole new tranny all together/rebuilt tranny. but we will see so far shes still running though.
