yeah getting new toys

Sold my civic so i have some money left over to play with. Getting some Trail Gear sliders for sure thinking airaid jr intake, thoughts? My 4runner is pretry much stoxk on 265/75/16 tires, Doing a lift once the wife and i sell our house so that needs to wait. Basically i have another $200 to spend after the sliders and not sure where to spend it.

Maybe some WeatherTech floor mats or cargo mat? Or are there any maintenance items than can be taken care of with the $200?

Taken care of pretty much everything, i am a mechanic. I have a good set of Highlander rubber floor mats alread . Its time to upgrade the beast.

Hmmmm.....If I had an extra $200.... 5% tint or projector retrofit or bigger alternator for future electrical mods or a set of truck nutz...

just some suggestions, or just use it on gas/food money for a camping trip.

If you can weld you can make a front and rear bumper for $200 dollars.

I'd definitely spend the money on something besides the intake. It won't make enough difference in power or economy (if any) to be worth the cost, and that money could buy something useful, even if it's just a nice set of lights. Just my opinion, but you asked.

Tranny cooler (if auto) followed by the Tundra brake upgrade. Consider these assurance upgrades to assure you that you won't find yourself in bigger trouble ($$$$) than you possibly would without them.

If you can scrounge up and extra $60 Camelback Toyota quoted me $130 each for OEM lower ball joints. Rock sliders are no good if the wheel falls off.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I just replaced my rad so no worries about pink milkshake but i do want to add an external trans cooler in the future. Just did the front brakes last month but the tundra brakes are on my wish list, 199mm. Lbj are good so no need to replace them, had that happen on my 96 Tacoma and it is no fun having a hub and wheel come off.
I ended up getting a Scangauge 2 mostly for the additional engine sensor it gives you. Just started playing with it so not 100% dialed in or familiar with all the functions. The mpg gauge is cool as it the hp gauge. Now for those sliders.

Haha! I'm glad I didn't actually buy them from the dude I talked to. Thinking about it now I may have talked to Toyota next to Scottsdale Airpark which is down the street a ways but I'm pretty glad I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. Looking at it on their website it totally is 86 bucks each. Glad you gave a heads up!
