I went with Xenon Depot 2400K Yellow LED fog light bulbs.

+1 for Lamin-X. I had yellow on mine for a bit with stock bulbs, and although it doesn't help the output it is a more visible light.

Plus it's cheap and IMO looks good when the lights aren't running.

I went with a set of the new OEM plug and play LEDs for around $100, then added lamin-x amber films. I had yellow film on the stock halogens previously. The new LEDs kick out a lot more light in a very tight cutoff horizontal pattern. From strictly an appearance standpoint, the amber film matches my grille lights and amber side markers a lot better than the yellow did.

That is what I have - direct replacement of the stock units. Totally worth it. Just know you likely will never use them in the city again. At least not daily.

I have stock fogs with with the lamin x yellow and the output is fine. So with LEDS I’m sure it won’t affect it at all.

I have LED fog bulbs with the laminx yellow and have no issues.

To the OP, I'd suggest to start with the laminx unless you really need more light output and want to replace the unit itself or just the bulbs.
