Yes, FJ TRD Team Trail rims do fit on 2003 Limited Runners - Pics of mine

I asked a question on here a few days about about 16" rims fitting on 2003 Limited 4Runners. No one seemed to know if they would fit over the brakes. I decided to risk it. It turns out the Limiteds didn't change to larger 13.3 inch brakes until 2005 (but sports had them since 2003), so they fit perfectly. Sorry for the bad pics, I'll take and post some better ones this weekend. What do you think? I love these rims...

lucky you have 03 and be able to fit in 16" wheel.... i wish i could do that to my 4R so i don't have to pay top dollars on some 18" A/T tires....

lucky if you saw one @ $1200, last time i saw one on craigslist asking for $1800 brand new, set of 4, i was like ..... :jaw drop:

I found them on about page 11 of google at some toyota dealership back east for 620 bucks total for all 4. I couldn't believe it myself. I almost bought a set on eBay for double that. But then again that's why I took the risk of them not fitting... I knew I could sell them for double. It was their last set and toyota doesn't appear to be selling them any more...

Anyway, thanks for the compliments. I'm loving them. Non stop looks and comments today. It's the one time I'm happy to have smaller brakes. Haha. More mods to come... PM me for toyota dealership info. But as I said they told me it was their last set.

You should ditch the running boards, for some reason they stick out to me and don't blend with the vehicle...

Also, maybe some blacked out headlights, emblems, etc?

I don't think they come in chrome but they do come in satin and alloy. I could be wrong though. The black or satin rims are really rare.. i think they only made 3,500 if i,m not mistaken. At least thats what i read a few days ago. There was one toyota dealership selling them but they were sold out when i looked today.

I think there are a few dealers who are on yotatech that can get them for near that price. One thing I was considering was putting the Rugged Trail black Taco wheels on, that might work for the SE guys.

i am so jelous! i know people "behind the scenes" at toyota and they went to work for me to get those and i still couldn't snag me a set! dahh! and for the 17's they do make them i saw some on ebay last week. they look a little different, they have grooves on the side. the guy was in AZ selling a wheel tire package for $1200, i didn't like the tires too much plus i saw that after i ordered my procomps:bonk: but i orderd the trd center caps today so hopefully i can put those on!

Yeah, those are just the regular FJC wheel's painted black. The wheels I'd really like are the Limited TRD Edition wheels from back in '06 I believe. They were like LakeShow's wheels, but in a graphite/anthracite color.

when i went to get mine they offered me some chrome trd wheels. i didn't see them but they may be the same??

Very nice rim and tire combo. that's exactly what I'm looking for. Not into the flashy stuff I like that stealth look it's functional and looks real good.
