More than I thought! I was shocked. $60 for them to be stamped and $85 for registration. I thought I paid the 60 and was done but nooo they always find a way to ding ya again.

Ya they are ironed on. I don't know why they can't stamp them like normal plates...

I wonder when they started to do this??? My dad's are legit stamped ones, and i think he got them in '01.

the custom plates in NY are the same...they're not stamped...i guess that's too much work, and more work means more $$ and we don't want that, now...

They're still stamped out here in CA. I guess prison labor is still cheap.
