I got one specific reply from the local Toyota Mech.... The coil is just not strong enough to support the Iridium.? I still don't get it since the IX plugs are supposed to conduct better... It was Friday, and he seemd like he had been ridden like a bicycle all week.... So I was guessing he was talking about the quad plugs or something. I've held off installing the quads until I install the super racing grounding plate... I know they are a little hokey, maybe even snake oil type, but I o know that the grounding straps/wires on my 95 are 12/13 years old and were not strong in the first place. I also know that grounding is eccential to proper operation, and I feel like added 8 guage ground9ing wires can't hurt. Especial with all the stereo equipment I have in there... Also, the improved grounding should allow for better flow of the current to the plug, plug to the tip, better detonation, more efficient combustion, and overall more effiencent operation of the engine.
Of course It is very possible that I'm completely wrong since it's happened before...
If anyone has any past experience with either part... Quad spark plugs, and/or the gruonding plate let me know...
Thanks.
