Yet another tire ?

Falls

On my Revos (48k on them ) if you look at the tread inside not the part that touches the road , it would be in between the lugs of the tire they are full of small spider web type of cracks. Is that dry rot from age ? They are 2.3 y/o . They were mfg. shortly before I bought them.

Had the same thing happening. Just replaced them (today about 2 hours ago!) with 55k miles on them. I have no idea what it was from though. Every tire I have ever had does that it seems.

The Revos on my Titan did that. I didn't run them to the end because I sold the truck. The Michelin CT's that came on my T4R have the same thing but a lesser degree. The Toyo's on my girlfriends car have it, the Yoks on the 1500 Dodge have it, the LTX M/S on the dually F350 have it...

I'd say if there's no significant depth or separation I would not worry about it...

Our road temps exceed yours, our speeds are probably higher. I-75 between Ft Myers and Sarasota is 90mph for a long duration. I think the heat puts minor surface fractures in the most outer layer of rubber. I also speculate the heat is why it's a 'normal' condition to my eye and you're not as accustomed to it.

Falls, r u collecting 4 x 4's? :D

No , I wish . I bought the Tahoe very cheap and gave it to my dad to use. Its originally plan was to haul my drum kit since if I take the whole kit someplace I cannot fit it all in my 4R.
