YotaMD Titanium-banded Remote Shell for Limited 5th Gen

This should fit all the Limited 5th Gens with the keyless start remotes. I don't supply the buttons, so you'll need to ensure your buttons look exactly what what you see in the pics below.

Details:

The shell is an ultra-high precision 3D printed nylon. You would never know it was a printed material. Step lines are completely invisible on the external surfaces. The colored shells are Cerakoted and are extremely durable. Cerakote is a ceramic coating commonly used on firearms and knives. It's exceptionally strong and vibrant.

There's a grade 5 titanium band that provides a few unique features. They include:

• Reinforced Isolated Keyring
• Polished Key Guide and Retainer
• Aesthetic Enhancement
• Key Release Mechanism
• Designed for Optimum Range

The titanium is water jet with the highest possible edge finish making it a small work of art by itself. I use local shops for the printing and Cerakote for the shells and for the titanium processing.

Clean I like it. FJC makes good stuff (had one for the taco fob) but it's a bit more yobbish in design. Any plans for a key version? Black?

If it looks like the following pic, then yes. I think most the 3rd gen Prius remotes are like that.



There's a squared button remote that is not compatible with the YMD2 model discussed in this thread, but I do have that squared design in the pipeline for 2019.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm hoping to spread the love with the 5th gen crowd as well. Mud has been an amazing community full of support for the small "boutique" vendors.

Indeed. You'll find cheaper cases, but you won't find better.

If you're interested in seeing the final product in person, I'm offering up a marketing promotion for up to 40% off in exchange for pics showing off the product with your 5th gen. I don't run promo's often so it's a good way to get your hands on one of these at a price point more similar to the cheap fobs you may be used to.

Grade 5 Titanium, precision machined and hand finished; Stainless hardware and the best manufacturing methods available. Topped off with Cerakote if you fancy a non-black case. This isn't your average key fob.

Here are some great pics of the FDE color from a customer over on the Subaru forums. This color tends to show up differently with different cameras and lighting so it's nice to see it in as many situations as possible.

Can you point me towards a picture of the smart key you are referring to? I thought the pictured key was the smart key.
