I know my 4R is slow as crap, so was my 09 Tacoma with that engine above.
You know you drive a 4runner when you ACCEPT it's slow! 4th gen v-8 maybe a slight exception.

I'm sure a V-8 Runner or Jeep would stomp the 6. Then compare it to full size 400 HP trucks, or 600HP stock diesels. 4Runners aren't fast.

Not denying that at all. (not to mention the video is slightly uphill). I know it ain't a race car, but it sounds like one. Plus my TRD stickers give about 50hp instantly.

...when it has 205k miles and you don't give a second thought to taking your wife, 2 kids (3 years and 4 months), sister-in-law and all the associated luggage on a 700 mile road trip. Seriously, this truck is the best money we've ever spent.
Heck, I even managed almost 21 MPG on one tank that trip when I set the cruise at 70 instead of driving like an a-hole.
