example .....I went to look at a forester. at a dealer, and to look at the 4 runner they had listed.. but had come to kind of a conclusion after looking far and wide, that I would be getting the forester, that in my budget I could not find a good 4 runner, and the foresters got great gas mpg...compared to a 4 runner...came home with the 4runner
2000 v6 sr5 auto compared to the 2006 forester 5 speed I went to look at, same price, and the forester had less miles

Your 2000 Limited Edition 4runner is sitting in the driveway and needs a new Ignition Switch, Key and Cylinder, or possibly a Starter... Being a Single Mom with no one to help me out is getting very frustrated and it's been out out of commission for about a month. I'm bypassing the ignition switch with with a universal ignition switch with key and I wish I had a wiring diagram and instructions... plus I don't know where to place the ground? Ergh!!!

Have you tried hitting the starter with a hammer?

The ignition cylinder is very easy btw, and takes less than 10 minutes.
