alongside a stock 01 before alignment and after the bottom half of billet grille fell off and got run over twice (have since fixed, repainted, and put back on)

front is at 37 1/2 inches, rear at 36 1/2 inches.

Those 1999 4Runner is tall. Even with my lift it does not seem that much taller then a 99 4Runner.
