1. Highlander
2. Lexus RX330(starting to get out of my price range)
3. Acura MDX
4. Honda Pilot
5. Nissan Pathfinder or its replacement
BUT I don't have to worry about it.........I have my 2003 4Runner Limited V8 4x4 titanium silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to sell my Dodge Stealth to get the new 4Runner. Damn I miss that car...but she was getting old and I needed something more practical

I originally wanted 350Z, but figured it wasn't practical for me..so i chose between the Acura MDX, and the 4 runner...i think i picked the best for me...

As for an SUV choice itd be an old landcrusier, X5, or a HUMdizzle!
as for the HUMdizzle(H2) I would put some nice 22in rims with some mud tires surrounding em....hehe...That would like interesting ehhh!!
As for a car car... its would be black M3 coupe, Lexus IS, or a BENZ SL 55!

Hey all,
I finally pull the trigger! I just took delivery of a 2003 BMW M3 with SMG II transmission, 19" wheels, Harmon/Kardon stereo, and new adaptive LED taillights! :dancin: :zoom:
This thing is sooooo damn fast! It is REALLY hard to break-in this car...very hard to keep it under 80 mph...so much power reserve. In addition, the torque is just amazing for this high-revving engine.
BTW, the SMG II (true 6-speed clutchless manual) is the greatest invention known to man...well, maybe with the exception of the center diff lock on 4runners.
It is not like the typical auto-manual tranny seen in Acuras or Porsche. This thing will shift FASTER than the Ferrari paddle-system (over 3-times faster). Flick of the wrist and you're in the next gear! Drives like a manual tranny...except that everyone else thinks you're an expert driver.
I am going to try and keep this thing for the weekends, but it is really hard to jump between 4runner and M3! I am driving it as much as i can now to get over the break-in period.

How about a picture of your new car? If we didn't need a SUV, I would of picked a BMW, probably not a M3 though. How is insurance on that thing, or is that something people just don't ask?

Hey Thai, you should check out Khumo Ecsta Supras when it comes time for new tires. I had 265/35/18's on my Stealth and they were only $150 each! They may not be quite as grippy but for the price they're amazing. They handle excellent in the rain, and have a treadwear rating of 280 so they last a lot longer as well

BMW now pays for all scheduled maintenance for 4 years/50,000 miles...the only thing i need to worry about is fuel and tires.
My engine is warrantied till 6 years/100,000 miles (only M3).
I have Roadside Assistance for life of the vehicle (only M3) because i have no spare tire.
So, i am set for at least 4 years/50,000 miles. Maybe i'll just trade it in at that time....
