Job i took is in San Jose right by the airport but I won't know where we are going to actually live until the g/f finds a job so we can find something close to equal distance if possible. I am going to load a couple of tool boxes on a trailer with some personal items and tow it up beginning of Dec, the rest well I'm not sure. I've basically got a full shop in my home garage, along with 5 cars, and then the regular house hold stuff to move. I'm not excited for that part of it.

Nice, well I'm only 35 minutes away so if you need help moving in I can help when the time comes. There are some nice parts of San Jose and some parts you want to steer clear of. What kind of work does your gf do?

She does accounting for a construction company right now ... I'm sure she will be looking in the same line of work up there.

I will be looking for some more info on good and bad areas once I'm up there and can start to figure out our plan. My biggest issue right now is going to be space for the money. I have a 3 car garage here, and use every inch of it. I'm almost tempted to look for some warehouse space, and just live in an apt, but its still too far off to figure out whats going to work best just yet.

Thanks for the offer, I may hit you up for some of the heavier stuff, the g/f can usually handle it, but it really gets tougher each time to convince her why i need all of my stuff. lol

thats exactly my problem here in the bay area, i cant afford to live where i want and have the workshop space i want in the same place.

thats how I ended up in Rialto.. cheaper for the size. A lot of other downsides though. One of the few things I miss about the midwest. A 2000sq ft shop and a decent apartment cost less then the rent on my house here.

So anyone gonna be around downtown san Jose tomorrow around 5 that wants to give me a quick hand? We had an issue with our storage unit today Si I have to find another one tomorrow and AK looking my help tonight since she's flying back south for the week. Only a small trailer so it won't be too painful. Lol
