ZERO VACUUM!!! (97 3rz)

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my 97 3rz 4cyl 4runner, I have been doing fuel pressure tests and all that and I just did a vacuum test for the fuel pressure regulator and I have ZERO vac. to the fuel pressure regulator from the intake. What could be causing this!?!?!?!? :noidea:

its a shot in the dark here... what about the PCV valve is it breathable

I don't know about the 3rz but on the 5vz the vacuum line does nothing except provide clean air to the FPR diaphragm. On the 5vz there is never any vacuum where the line is on the intake. I tested it while driving and watching a fuel pressure gauge that I taped to the hood. I think with efi it doesn't need the increase in fuel pressure just consistent pressure.

I'm about 99% sure there isnt vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator. The line to the FPR comes from before the throttle body, therefor, no vacuum.
