Finally got a set of skids

so I took off my running boards with the lights and took them apart. got the wiring out and zip tied the wiring and the lights to the underside of the frame and then installed tube steps.

I may have missed it, but what did you swap into the fog lamps as far as bulbs go? I gather they're HID, but what are the specs, manufacturer, etc.? What are your impressions of them? I find the stock ones to be pretty useless and I'm wondering if these make a meaningful impact.

they are 35w 6K from DDM Tuning. I love them, they help light up the road so much. With the 55w 6K headlights and the fogs it is like daytime.

yea I had to use a blow dryer to keep the hood warm considering the temp today didn't get above 35.

Your hood looks fantastic! How did you do the edging? Did you tape it off and remove and replace the tape between coats or peel it off after all coats were done? I've been thinking about doing something similar, but have been concerned about getting a nice, crisp edge.

I taped it off and pulled the tape off at the end. had to run an x-acto knife along the tape line when I was done to keep it from pulling up. I'll try and post a pic of how I taped it off later when I get a chance.

How many coats/cans of Plasti Dip did you use on the wheels?
