Zombie Apocalypse

So today while my professor was blabbering on I started to daydream and having watched, "The Walking Dead" the previous night I started to daydream about zombies and since I have a 4Runner I started daydreaming about enduring through a zombie apocalypse with my car and limited supplies. So here is the question: If you were to to experience a zombie apocalypse and miraculously survived (thanks to your trusty ol' Runner) what would you proceed to do? How would you modify your vehicle to make it better for anti-zombie use? Where would you go? Pointless question I know but it's a fun idea to entertain. You can only have two survivors with you and one pet (should you desire one)

My advice: Make sure the other two survivors aren't sisters...and definitely not twins. I'd rather face the zombies alone! :roadkill:

that's a foolish statement...

personally i'd want twins and i'd build my truck like this

then raid the local military base, snickers plant and ky-jelly factory and call it a day...

I think I'd take my Runner straight to the docks, hijack a boat and set a course for Hawaii. Zombies don't seem like they'd be good swimmers.

Personally I'd mAke sure my t4r had plenty of lights on it and plenty of room for guns and ammo. I'd also have to stop by the pharmacy and raid all of the inhalers since I have asthma lol, but as long as a man has guns that'll last him a while.

I would stock the 4runner with a mossburg and as many shells as I could find and avoid big cities ... I would also mount a power inverter with an external outlet so I could quickly rig up some leads to power the pumps at gas stations. I have a feeling that a roof top tent would be a huge asset in this situation

ARB bumper with metal shark-tooth spikes welded onto it. Like 8 gas tanks and a Colt in the glove box then finish it of with a ruffle and a twelve guage

There are already zombies in hawaii ... your voyage is pointless :D

What about a little uninhabited island in the San Juans? I could live off fish and crab and enjoy a pretty comfortable existence zombie-free.

OK OK, I know that's getting outside the original question, so I'll answer it. I would definitely rig a larger gas tank into it as well as armor it up as much as possible. Maybe remove the glass and install some sort of periscope for viewing? Then mount as much fire power as I possibly could.

Something like this:

Hepars on the right track... Id ditch the 4Runner (never thought id say that), hijack a boat and stay the f*@# on the ocean.... zombies cant swim, but being dead, they could walk along the bottom of lakes and rivers, I believe the ocean currents would be to much for them to deal with. Hawaii's good, as long as there are no zombies already. The San Juans and the numerous little islands there would be an excellent choice, i would think. But if on a boat, dont use that anchor...

Photoshop....it's not possible like its shown and also wouldn't be a good idea. One hard hit and it would fold in and blow a tire. Not to mention how it would suck to climb a curb, lol.

I already have most of the stuff in my rig to survive on.. I am ofcourse....

Just have to grab a few things... 1911, glock, ammo, and my homemade blade..

Tint my windows? If they can't see you, they won't know you're there in the first place. Right? Otherwise, I'd get my 12 gauge out and raid the local stores with as many deer slugs as I can find.
